My family doesn't have lots of traditions, but Husband and I have been working on establishing a few of our own.
Christmas- We build a gingerbread house with my SIL's and nephew. Buddha eats too much of the decorations and we laugh a lot. Usually SIL will get too creative on her house and it starts looking hilarious. The dogs even hang out under the table and eat anything that is dropped.
New Year's Eve- Husband and I fondue at midnight... usually SIL's come to that too. We've missed this one for a few years now, but we're going to get it back on track.
Birth of a baby- When a close friend squirts out a human, we all coordinate a delicious Thanksgiving meal for the new mom. I usually make a turkey and Husband makes the gravy. If I forget to thaw the bird out, the new mom gets Honey Baked Ham... and with my scatterbrain lately, that's becoming the tradition! Then everyone makes homemade side dishes and casseroles and pies... SO DELICIOUS! When I'm a Mom!?! had her twins, she had more food than they could eat. It was her 2 month stay in the hospital that gave us the idea.

I love that tradition!! It's all I could think of while I was in the hospital, and it's so fun now paying it forward!!
"Squirts out a human"...
DYING! Laughing at that SO hard.
Love that squirting out a human tradition. I can't cook worth jack so, if I adopted that tradition, the new Mama would get a whole lotta take out or paper goods ;)
